Our founder, Evelyn Awundga, has generously donated land to the corporation, located in two different locations in Cameroon, Africa. On each plot of land we plan to develop a community health clinic, the larger of which is ultimately planned to operate as a fully functional hospital.
Once construction of our clinic facilities has been completed, we will provide medical services for and serve the underserved residents of Cameroon. There is a great need for not just a hospital in this community, but a hospital that is as technology-advanced, modern, and accessible. The medical services Genesis A Clinic will provide to the community are of vital importance and necessity to the population, as many of the local population often die of many minor or non-life threatening ailments and injuries such as fevers, asthma, childbirth, colds, diabetes, high blood pressures, and bone fractures, tetanus, yellow fever, and many more. It is the non-management, prevention, and adequate health care follow-up and monitoring that often turn these types of health issues into more serious and life-threatening issues.
Genesis A Clinic will begin by providing preventative medicine and primary care to residents of the local community. As funding becomes available and the practice expands, we will ultimately be a fully functioning hospital, including:
Once the project is complete and the hospital is ready to open, we will recruit a highly qualified staff of physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals from the local community.
Genesis A Clinic is in the unique position to begin fund raising for the construction of a hospital/ clinic which will administer services to those who otherwise would not have access to such vital care.
